Why are you part of AFCWA?
Because I have been though trials, tribulations, and such joy as a football coach’s wife for 23 years and could not have done it without AFCWA. I have friends all over the county that I love who show me such love, support, and inspiration. All because of AFCWA! AFCWA has given me this much so that I am driven to give back. I am part of AFCWA and a member of the Board to help make AFCWA as valuable to each and every member as it is to me.
What is your favorite AFCWA memory?
I used to lead an online bible study for football coach’s wives. There was one dear friend I met on Zoom that became a best friend the day I met her in person for the first time at an AFCWA Convention. And hugged her neck. Since then, we have leaned on each other, shared much, loved as only besties can, shown each other the way, and set each other straight when we needed it. In the years since, the experience of meeting wives and reconnecting with others at convention has been something that I look forward more to every year.
