Get to know me!
Why are you a part of AFCWA?
Historically, John had always attended the AFCA convention with other coaches. I began attending in 2012 and initially viewed the trip as a much needed vacation. As I started meeting other wives and learning more about the AFCWA, I was impressed by the sisterhood of coaches' wives.
As wives, we face unique challenges. Unless you are a coaches’ wife, it can be difficult to fully grasp the scope of this “position.” It doesn’t matter if you are in a community for one year or 20, it is really challenging to find support locally. As a national association, AFCWA provides that support, camaraderie and service for wives across the country and cross all levels of coaching – from high school to the professional ranks.
What do you do in your spare time?
Spare time? What is that?
I play competitive USTA tennis and love to travel. The beach is my friend.
